How to remove GRUB when it crashes to prompt:

Restart computer

Insert Windows installation CD

Make sure that the cd boots. If the regular windows screen appears, either try restarting again, or make sure BIOS has CD autoplay listed before harddrive

Press "any key"

Wait until "Welcome to Setup"

Press R

Select the number with "c:\windows"

Administrative password is blank by default (just press enter without typing anything), unless you specified a password when you installed windows by yourself

When c:\windows prompt appears, type "fixmbr" <press enter>. The type "y" <press enter>

Remove cd and type "exit" <press enter>

If you want to repair GRUB instead, you will need to search for that elsewhere.
