- computer output (LED, buzzer, LCD)

- secure storage
- computer wake-up (incl by alarm)
- user-programmable mcP (fe alarm, beep on specified event, blink led, etc)
- internal rechargeable battery to charge when in PC, and then charge other devices when plugged into them
