Content markups proliferate without any control:

  • HTML
  • Doc
  • Wiki -- several types of markup for no reason

and there don't even exist tools to convert between the formats. And mediawiki does not even have a paste button!

  • document online all formats used to store information and how to translate it to a better, documented storage medium & file formats. Also list & document good translation equipment. document or create sites for obsolete software and hardware, instructions to convert information storage methods, all best file formats, and hardware preservation and documentation resources.
